Gabrielle Blair, the founder of Design Mom, loved that her son Oscar enjoyed an activity connecting him to earlier generations (his grandpa used to cut geodes as a hobby). Her son, on the other hand, loved that the activity was cool and involved wearing goggles. Win, win!
